ARE DERMAL FILLERS AFFECTED BY SUN EXPOSURE?
Sadly, they are! In fact, numerous studies have shown that exposure to ultraviolet radiation in sunlight degrades the hyaluronic acid contained in Juvéderm. If you want your results to last, try not to spend too much time in the sun. But, if you have to spend prolonged time in the sun, wear a high SPF and use a topical antioxidant to help fight free radicals.
